These are the terms for Mitram, a new and actively developed service. Plain English; ask if you want a longer document.

What Mitram is

Mitram is a Vedic-astrology decision-support tool. It computes a chart from your birth data, runs multi-system reasoning, surfaces classical citations for every claim, and tracks how often its calls turn out to be correct over time. It is a tool you consult — not an authority.

Guidance, not professional advice. Mitram's readings are based on classical Vedic astrology — a tool for reflection, not a forecast of fate, and not medical, financial, or legal advice. The specifics are below.

What Mitram is not

• Not medical advice. Mitram will refuse predictive medical or death-related questions. If you're sick, see a doctor.
• Not financial advice. Mitram can suggest favourable windows for executing decisions you've already made (a SIP start date, a property registration). It does NOT predict stock-price direction; questions like “will Nifty go up?” will be declined. If you're investing, talk to a financial advisor.
• Not legal advice. Same principle. Mitram will not opine on filings, contracts, or compliance.
• Not a replacement for professional consultation. A human astrologer reads your chart with context, judgment, and empathy. Mitram is decision-support and runs deterministically.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is”. We make no guarantees about accuracy, availability, or fitness for purpose. The calibration page shows real numbers — the system is not always right, by design.

Improving the system

Mitram gets better by measuring itself against real outcomes. When you report how a decision actually turned out, that outcome — together with your chart data in a privacy-masked form (your name is never sent to the AI) — may be used to calibrate and improve the system's accuracy. You consent to this at onboarding; it is core to how the product works. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties (see Privacy).

Use it sensibly

• Don't use Mitram for time-sensitive irreversible decisions (medical procedures, large financial commitments, legal filings) while the service is new.
• One account per person. Don't try to overload the API or abuse the free tier — there are per-user and app-wide spend caps, and abuse will get the account locked.
• The chart data you provide for friends, family, and partners is your responsibility. Make sure they're ok with you adding their birth data here.

Payments & billing

Mitram is paid software. You buy credits — used to run AI readings, decisions, and reports — as one-time packs or through a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments; we never store your card number. Refunds, cancellation, and how billing errors are handled are set out in our Refunds & billing policy.

Service status

Mitram is a new service. Features may change, data may be migrated, the URL may move. We'll give notice for destructive changes but can't promise zero downtime or zero regressions while the service is new.

Governing law

Mitram is operated by an individual based in India. These terms, and any dispute relating to them or to Mitram, are governed by the laws of India.
